Two people have been charged after a dispute at a local motel.
Peterborough County OPP say on Tuesday afternoon, a complainant reported they were threatened with a Conducted Energy Weapon during an argument with other tenants residing at a motel located on Highway 7.
The CEW was located and seized by officers during the investigation. No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
Charged are: 38-year-old Eric McInnis of Otonabee-South Monaghan Township, 58-year-old Elaine St. Marie.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 15th.
