Peterborough lost a prominent member of the community with the sudden passing of Tom Phillips.
Phillips was involved in a lot of community projects and belonged to a lot Boards, including the YMCA.
CEO Dave Allen says Tom was integral part in the amalgamation of the Peterborough, Belleville and Quinte YMCAs.
Allen adds that Tom will be missed by many in the community.
