Peterborough Transit is adjusting how transit service is delivered.
Starting Sunday, October 30th, changes are being made to include increasing the use of On Demand Transit Service in off-peak hours, trip time adjustments to improve reliability and reducing some community bus service.
Updated routes will be posted online.
Officials say absenteeism, combined with the challenging labour market makes it difficult to find new employees, which has contributed to the need to regularly cancel scheduled trips on routes.
