Fleming College is welcoming new students to its highly successful Paramedic program.
Students can now apply for the program, which begins in January and will run for four consecutive semesters.
Paramedic program students learn in classrooms, laboratories, clinics and in a real-world setting, alongside medical professionals. The in-demand program also prepares students to write the Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant examination.
The AEMCA is a provincial test required for all Paramedic graduates looking for employment in their field.
Last year, Fleming students aced the test, passing at a 100% pass rate with scores 4% above the provincial average.
