Reaction continues to come in from the healthcare sector following the Throne Speech at Queen’s Park last week.
Here’s what Dr. Alan Drummond, the Co-chair of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, had to say.
Dr. Drummond says even though the Ford government hasn’t been sitting, they’ve had time to consult with stakeholders and come up with a plan.
He adds that his organization has had suggestions to improve staffing in Ontario’s hospitals for 20 years. He suggests the province go back, review their suggestions and implement them.
