While the race for the OHL Championship continues, the league as announced the home opener schedule for the 2022-23 campaign.
The puck will drop on the 66th season of Peterborough Petes hockey on Thursday, September 29, 2022 during #OHLOpeningWeek.
The 2022 Home Opener will feature a matchup between the Peterborough Petes and Western Conference rival Erie Otters at 7:05pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on September 29. The Petes are 14-9-0-1 all-time at home against the Erie Otters, and have a record of 10-4 all-time on September 29.
The club says that the only way to guarantee seats to the Home Opener is with season tickets, exclusive group packages, or a 2022 Home Opener Flex Pack, available while supplies last.
Petes Season Ticket Members and flex pack holders have priority access to Home Opener tickets, which are on sale now. To gain access to the Home Opener in an exclusive booking window, fans can call (705) 743-3681 ext. 6000, email the Petes, or visit the Petes Store online or in person at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
Home Opener Flex Packs can also be purchased any time online at The Petes Store.
Tickets for all other regular season home games will go on sale on Thursday, June 16 at 3pm at the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office.
The entire 2022-23 regular season schedule will be released later on this week.
