Parks Canada is warning of some higher-than-normal water levels on the Trent-Severn Waterway this weekend.
Additionally, flows will increate from Lock 1 in Trenton to Lock 27 in Young’s Point outside of navigation hours until further notice.
In the last week, the local watershed has seem between 50 and 100mm of rain, which is more than the usual 25mm the region sees in June.
While around the water, you’re reminded to use extra caution as well.
