Class will still not be in session for students of a number of local schools.
Due to ongoing power outages or school clean-up, the KPR District School Board confirms 13 Peterborough City/County schools will remain closed today including Crestwood Intermediate School, Crestwood Secondary School, James Strath Public School, Kenner Intermediate School, Kenner Collegiate Vocational Institute, Lakefield District Public School, North Cavan Public School, Norwood District Public School, Norwood District Intermediate, Norwood District High School, Queen Mary Public School, Warsaw Public School and Westmount Public School.
In the Catholic board, six schools are going to be closed – Immaculate Conception, St. John, St. Teresa, St. Paul Lakefield, St. Martin and St. Joseph.
Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario warns some bus routes will be cancelled this morning as well.
