The 360 Degree Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic has announced the start of a new Safer Supply Pilot Program.
Program Manager Nancy Henderson says the $800,000 funding for the program is a great first step.
Henderson says the more options that are available to combat the drug crisis, the better.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Thomas Piggott says expanding access to safer supply is an incredibly important opportunity to support people who use drugs in the Peterborough region and decrease fatal overdoses.
