The ongoing search for a missing Buckhorn man, 50 year old Robert Ladoucer has come to a sad ending.
At around 11am on Sunday, police responded to reports of a body in a field off Lakehurst Road near Six Foot Bay Road in Trent Lakes. Officials determined the body was that of Mr. Ladoucer.
Police say that a post-mortem has been conducted and the death is being treated as suspicous.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have any knowledge about the deceased’s activities leading up to his disappearance to contact police. LADOUCEUR was last seen alive in the Peterborough area on March 21, 2022.
The Peterborough County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and with assistance from Central Region OPP Criminal Operations and OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario.
