No, this is not an April Fool’s joke – registration is about to open for the 21st edition of the annual Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival.
On Friday, teams can sign up for the event which will be held on June 11th at Del Crary Park.
PTBO Today.ca spoke with Festival Chair Michelle Thornton.
Proceeds will allow PRHC to invest in new state-of-the-art equipment and technology to serve more cancer patients, support earlier cancer diagnosis, and provide safer, more effective treatments. After being cancelled in 2020, the Festival went virtual last year and raised over $95,000, bringing their 20 year fundraising total to over $3.7 million dollars.
