The Peterborough Timbermen are back on the winning track after a hard-fought 14-10 win on Saturday night at Millbrook Arena over Toronto.
The win snapped a five-game losing skid and came at the right time for a team looking to make a push for playoff positioning. The team has two games remaining in the regular season and they currently sit at 5-5, in fourth place of seven teams. Final positioning will come down to the last weekend of play.
The game went back-and-forth until the second quarter when a pair from Mitchell Geoffroy 55 seconds apart put the Timbermen permanently back on top.
They return home next Saturday, April 2nd to host the Oshawa Outlaws at 2 p.m. in the regular season finale.
