Earlier today, it was announced that the mask mandate is becoming a thing of the past.
Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore announced that as of March 21st you won’t need to wear masks in most settings.
Dr. Moore did add that masks will still need to be worn on transit, in hospitals and health care settings until April 27th. Premier Doug Ford says for anyone that still chooses to wear a mask, that’s okay and people should respect their choices.
Moore says this is possible thanks to the great work of the people of Ontario.
