The first-ever Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association regional game will also feature an all-female broadcast team.
The Petes announced that Katrina Squazzin, Meaghan Roy, and Julia Tocheri will be part of the broadcast on March 26th at the Memorial Centre.
Squazzin says she’s thrilled to be involved.
Squazzin adds that she’s grateful for the opportunity, which is the first of its kind locally.
Player Rachael Smith says this event on the March 26th is going to be amazing to see unfold.
Squazzin made history earlier this year as the first woman colour commentator in Petes’ history with Freq 90.5.
