Five Counties Children’s Centre’s annual Winterfest fundraiser starts this Friday, and is once again virtual due to COVID-19 measures.
Annual Giving Coordinator Linsey Kampf says there’s still lots to do this year, even with none of it in person.
Winterfest has changed over the years, and has gone from a Christmas-time event to being held in February, Kampf says the goal is always to raise money.
Kampf says while they wanted to be able to do a hybrid event this year, in the end virtual was safer for everyone with uncertainty while planning.
Auction items range from homemade crafts, gift baskets, toys and experiences, while bidding starts Friday morning at 8:00am, and runs until 9:00pm on Sunday night. You can find a link here.
