It has been a good start to the season for the Timbermen.
Peterborough is now 2-0 in the young Arena Lacrosse League season after a 25-18 win over the St. Catharines ShockWave on Sunday at Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations.
It was the highest scoring game in the league’s five year history with a combined 43 goals.
Joel Matthews led the Timbermen with four goals and eight assists. Brine Rice, Fred Hartley, Aaron Woods and Jordan Hendrycks all had hat tricks.
Next Saturday, the Timbermen visit Children’s Arena in Oshawa to take on the Outlaws at 5 p.m.
