Peterborough Police have charged a man after an incident last night in East City.
Police say around 7:00pm, officers were called to the home about a group of protestors. As a result, an arrested warrant was issued for a person involved.
This morning just before 10:00am, the man was arrested and charged with criminal harassment and intimidation of a health official.
They were also served with a court summons on two charges of mischief in connection to an unsanctioned parade last month.
Social media reports indicate the protest was held outside of Peterborough Public Health Medical Officer of Health Dr. Thomas Piggott’s home.
