Peterborough Public Health’s Acting Medical Officer of Health’s time in the job is winding down, as Dr. Thomas Piggott will move into the role permanently next month.
Dr. Ian Gemmill, who is technically retired, says he’s looking forward to some free time.
Gemmill has being acting medical officer since Dr. Rosana Salvaterra left a few months ago, and says he’s thankful for the opportunity to help where possible.
Gemmill says he’s happy to help with Piggott’s transition to the role if he needs any help.
