Peterborough Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted on attempted murder charges.
Police say 31-year-old Louis Yourkin is wanted in connection to a shooting at a Rubidge Street residence on September 11th. Two arrests have already been made in connection to the shooting.
This morning around 4:00 a.m., police searched homes in Bailieboro and on Ireland Drive in Peterborough and arrested 32-year-old Justin Boyer and 34-year-old Katrina Condon.
Boyer is charged with:
-Attempted murder using a restricted or prohibited firearm
-Pointing a firearm
-Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
-Using a firearm while committing an offence
-Discharging a firearm with intent
-Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
-Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
-Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Meantime, Condon has been charged with:
-Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
-Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
-Careless storage of a firearm
-Knowledge of unauthorized firearm
-Two counts of possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
