Correctional Service Canada says an inmate at Warkworth Institution in Campbellford has died while in custody.
Officials say Raynald Griffith-Cochrane passed of natural causes last Wednesday, as he was serving a sentence for Manslaughter, Escape Lawful Custody and Non-Capital Murder, which started May 21, 1970.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the CSC will review the circumstances.
