With one week to go until the All Hands on Deck Food Drive in support of Kawartha Food Share, the importance of donating during the summer is being stressed.
General Manager Ashlee Aitken says the need for food is present all year long.
Aitken adds that during the summer, donations can sometimes take a dip as many people are focused on vacations and travelling, and not donating. The All Hands on Deck Food Drive is next Thursday from 10 to 6 at Greg’s No Frills and Foodland locations in Peterborough.
