A couple of people have been charged after a drug investigation.
Peterborough Police say around 8 a.m., officers searched a home on Bellevue Street east of Chemong Road and located a suspect. The second suspect was located a short distance away.
As a result of the search, officers confiscated:
-cocaine, estimated 3 ounces
-fentanyl, estimated 10 grams
-psilocybin/Magic Mushrooms, estimated 1 ounce
-Lycergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), estimated 18 tablets
-Canadian Currency, estimated over $5,000
40-year-old Brian Fowler of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – LSD
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
36-year-old Sarah Sullivan of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Psilocybin
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – LSD
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
