Owning a restaurant was always a dream for Nadene Crough and thanks to hard work and dedication, it has been fulfilled.
Crough is the owner of The Pin, a popular destination based in a Victorian home on King Street.
While Crough considers herself good with adapting to a changing environment, nothing could have prepared her for the COVID-19 pandemic and what it has meant for the restaurant industry.
Like many local spots, The Pin has had to keep on top of a long list of restrictions that can change or be altered at the drop of a hat. Right now, it is open for takeout and catering due to the provincial stay-at-home order.
Crough credits her staff and loyal customers for helping guide the way through this extremely difficult time and is looking forward to the day where she can welcome families back inside to experience the warm atmosphere The Pin is well known for.
