A 38-year-old Keene man is facing charges of being impaired by drugs after several incidents over the weekend.
On Saturday afternoon at 1:45, officers were called to a collision at George Street North and Parkhill Road. Witnesses were concerned one of the drivers was impaired, however, an investigation did not lead to grounds for an impaired charge.
Then around 2:30, Peterborough Police received calls about about a vehicle being driven erratically and striking a hydro pole in the area of Eastgate Memorial Park on Ashburnham Drive. When officers arrived at the scene, they noticed obvious signs of impairment with the driver.
As a result of the investigation, 38-year-old Gregory O’Donoghue of Keene was arrested and charged.
He will appear in court on May 12th.
