As students return to virtual learning today after the April Break, mental health is a concern for many.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Rosana Salvaterra says student mental health is why she prefers to see students in-class, but understands the community transmission of COVID-19 is too high.
Salvaterra says once it’s safe to do so, kids should be back in class.
Peterborough currently has 132 active cases of COVID-19.
