An arrest has been made in connection to the murder of Tali Nolan.
Peterborough Police say earlier today, 50-year-old James Emery was taken into custody at his home on Rubidge Street and charged with first-degree murder.
Nolan was found murdered in the basement of a McDonnell Street residence on April 3, 2020.
Police say the arrest is the culmination of a year-long investigation and the matter is now before the courts, so no further details about the case will be discussed.
Emery will appear in court on Friday for a bail hearing.
