Local influencer and content creator Michelle Ferreri is throwing her name in the hat to be the next federal Conservative candidate in Peterborough-Kawartha.
Ferreri says with roots in journalism she’s always followed politics closely, but it was her family that convinced her to go for it.
Ferreri believes her reputation in the community will help her.
She also says that mental health is priority #1 for her, as it’s something that has a ripple effect on everything else in the community.
Mike Skinner had been the candidate for the Conservatives in the last two federal elections in 2015 and 2019.
