Peterborough’s top doctor says it’s tough to make recommendations regarding whether or not pregnant women should get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Peterborough Public Health Medical Officer of Health Dr. Rosana Salvaterra says this is because of a lack of clinical trials.
Salvaterra adds pregnant nurses and doctors should talk to their healthcare provider before getting a COVID-19 vaccine.
The vaccine is expected to arrive locally in February.
