Shorelines Casino Peterborough has a new owner.
This comes after Great Canadian Gaming has been sold to Apollo Global Management in a $3.3-billion deal. The company closed operations at all of its properties to contain the spread of COVID-19 in March, before reopening with limited capacity in September.
OLG also makes payments to the City of Peterborough quarterly for hosting Shorelines Casino, which worked out to over $3.1-million in 2019.
Great Canadian Gaming was founded in 1982 and operates 25 facilities, while Shorelines Casino in Peterborough opened in 2018.
