With the second wave of COVID-19 underway in Ontario, a growing number of parents are looking at switching their kids to online classes rather than in-person ones.
Communications Manager Galen Eagle says the deadline to switch a child in or out of virtual learning in November is this Thursday.
Eagle adds that the process of moving a student from one medium of learning to the next isn’t as simple as it may seem, which is why the deadline is a few weeks in advance.
There’s currently no local outbreaks of COVID-19, while the area has five active cases. You can find a link to transition classes here.
