The Peterborough Petes organization is taking time to remember a former captain.
Bob Schnurr died last week following a 10-year battle with cancer.
The Kitchener-native was traded to Peterborough in 1975 and spent two seasons with the Maroon and White.
He rounded out his OHL career by playing a season with the Kingston Canadians in 1977-78.
Schnurr was 63.
