It is Community Builders Day on PTBOToday.ca presented by Community Futures Peterborough.
We all know Billy Joel as the ‘Piano Man’, but Peterborough has its own well-known tickler of the ivory.
If you have been anyone to hear live music in the city, chances are you’ve heard Danny Bronson.
Bronson has been a professional musician and entertainer for over 40 years. He has journeyed as singer songwriter, actor, producer, musical director, orchestra conductor, cable television host, jingle writer, studio
musician, recording artist, master of ceremonies, graphic artist, teacher and improviser.
Some highlights during his career include: Peterborough Pathway of Fame inductee 1999. Included in Peterborough’s Greatest 100 in the Performing Arts. Entertainment Chair of Peterborough MusicFest.
As much success as Bronson has had on the stage, he always takes time to give back to the community like recently at the ‘Peterborough Musicians Against Homelessness’ show put on by the United Way of Peterborough and District.
