Peterborough Police say a 49-year-old man is facing a number of charges after a vehicle search.
Last night just after 10 o’clock, police pulled a car over for speeding and running a stop sign at High and Brown streets.
After learning the driver was suspended, a K9 unit searched his car and found open alcohol, purple heroin and fentanyl.
Jason Wootton has been charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance, driving while suspended, driving with open liquor and disobeying a stop sign.
He’ll appear in court in July.
