The Petes have signed Donovan McCoy, the 15th overall pick in the OHL Priority Selection.
The team announced the Belleville-native’s commitment yesterday.
General Manager Mike Oke says McCoy is a dependable two-way defenceman with good size and skating and is tough to play against in his own end but can also contribute offensively.
The 5’11 rearguard played for the OMHA Champion Quinte Red Devils during the 2019-20 season. In 35 games he recorded 6 goals, 29 assists, 35 points and 40 penalty minutes.
