The annual Coaches Poll has been released by the Ontario Hockey League, and 7 Petes were named finalists in 15 categories.
The OHL Coaches Poll provides member club coaches with the opportunity to recognize the top three players in 20 different skill categories within their own conference.
Among the Petes who were honoured, Akil Thomas was ranked 3rd as Smartest Players, Semyon Der-Arguchintsev ranked 2nd as Best Playmaker, Declan Chisholm ranked 2nd as Best Skater and 3rd as Best Offensive Defenceman, Zach Gallant ranked first in Best On Face-offs, Jacob Paquette finished tied for 1st as Best Shot Blocker, and 2nd as Best Penalty Killer, and Hunter Jones ranked 2nd in top Shootout Goaltender.
Nick Robertson led the way for the Petes, in 6 different categories, including 1st as Most Dangerous in Goal Area, and Best Shot.
