Peterborough Public Health has made its recommendations on the modernization of Public Health in Ontario.
A position paper dealing with the topic was released yesterday.
Board member and Selwyn Mayor Andy Mitchell says investments in health saves money for the province.
The report cautions that any amalgamated health units not become so large as to compromise access, efficiency, representative governance and the possibility of a share logical cohesive identity.
