The United Canadian Malt building at Park and Lansdowne will not receive heritage designation from Peterborough City Council.
Councillor Lesley Parnell says the heritage designation conversation should’ve happened a long time ago.
Councillor Stephen Wright says that while he’d love to see it stay, he thinks it’s too late.
The building was built in 1929. Councillors Baldwin, Riel, Pappas and Clarke voted in favour of the designation.
