Local players took to the court over the weekend to compete in the 7th annual PSB Wilson Squash Classic at the Peterborough Squash Club.
The event involved more than 70 matches and had 44 competitors.
Here are the winners:
‘A’ Division: 1. Sean Oh (Toronto); 2. Keln Huang (Toronto); 3. Scott Kemp-Gee (Toronto)
‘B’ Division: 1. Alok Dwivedi (Markham); 2. Josh McCoy (Innisfil); 3. Dan Moore (Bailieboro)
‘C’ Division: 1. Josh Griffin (Newmarket); 2. Doug Edmondson (Peterborough); 3. Kelly Rahiri (Peterborough)
‘D’ Division: 1. Steve Lucas (Lindsay); 2. Pauline Hall (Peterborough); 3. AJ Shearer (Peterborough)
’60+’ Division: 1. Ray Kerslake (Peterborough); 2. Dave Carroll (Whitby); 3. Paul Reinsoo (Waterloo)
The club also welcomed tournament namesake Paul SB Wilson and Canadian squash legend Vinnie Taylor for the first ever Peterborough 80+ Squash Championship. In the showcase match, Taylor (81) defeated Wilson (80) by a score of 21-14.
