Peterborough Police were part of a major drug and weapon bust.
On Wednesday at 6:00 am members of the Peterborough Police Service along with other police services executed 13 residential search warrants and 7 search warrants on motor vehicles.
As a result a large quantity of blue fentanyl, cocaine and crystal meth along with firearms were all seized.
This was as a result of a 9 week coordinated Joint Forces Project as Scott Gilbert, Chief of Police explains.
Four Search Warrants were executed in Peterborough, four in Kawartha Lakes, three in Quinte/Belleville area, one in Bridgenorth and one in Scarborough.
Syed Hassan (28yrs) from Scarborough, Cameron Bagheri (19yrs) of North Kawartha Lakes, Joseph Hobbins (35yrs) of Bridgenorth, Jesse Thomson (30yrs) Lindsay, Robert Ward (51yrs) Peterborough, Barbara Ingersoll (61yrs) Peterborough, Christopher Derrett (38yrs) Peterborough, Andrew Dafoe (33yrs) Peterborough, Timothy Hazlewood (38yrs) Deseronto, Daniel Knight (41) Lindsay, and Ian Murchison (37yrs) Peterborough are all facing a lengthy list of charges.
