The red carpet rolled out Wednesday night at the Showplace Performance Centre for the 2019 Peterborough Business Excellence Awards.
Carmela Valles, President and CEO of Carmela Valles Immigration Consulting was named the business citizen of the year.
She says she’s honoured to be recognized at the highest level in Peterborough.
There were over 20 awards handed out in total. The Showplace Performance Centre claimed the “Customer first” award and Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre awarded the Local Focus award.
