Peterborough Police are searching for two suspects after a shooting late last night.
Police say around 11:30pm officers were dispatched to the area of Edison Avenue for a shooting. Reports say two unknown men had attended a residence on Edison when an altercation occurred.
During the incident a woman was assaulted and a man was shot before both suspects reportedly fled the scene.
The first suspect is described as a white man, roughly 6’2 with a thin build and wearing a grey hoodie and grey track pants. The other suspect is also a white man, roughly 5’9 to 5’10 and wearing a hoodie.
Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The area was closed for an investigation, but has since been reopened.
