Hot Chocolate Fest is happening in Peterborough.
Details of the event were unveiled Monday morning.
Communications Manager with the DBIA, Hillary Flood, says the festival is going to have something for everyone.
From February 17th-to-26th, locals will be able to explore a world of innovative hot chocolate menu items handcrafted by the Boro’s most creative chocolatiers, pastry shops, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.
Festival goers are encouraged to plan their sweet adventure with the festival’s online Hot Chocolate Trail Map to scout your favourite spots for dine-in or take-out.
Director of Tourism with Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development Joe Rees says this initiative supports local restaurants & cafes during a traditionally slower period in the winter season and will encourage increased visitation and spending in the downtown.
