The City of Peterborough has announced an update on green waste collection.
Leaf and yard waste may go out to the curb every week for collection on regular collection days starting April 7th.
Green waste must be in paper yard waste bags, bushel baskets, or a garbage bin labeled with the City ‘Green Waste’ stickers.
Officials say plastic bags will not be accepted.
Weekly green waste collection will continue until the last week of November.
