With rumours swirling following his resignation, former Green Party candidate Brock Grills wants to set the record straight.
Grills says there were a number of factors that led to his decision including some personal issues as well as the amount of work he was having to put in.
He adds despite rumours of an issue between him and his former employer Beard Free Brewing, Grills says one of his reasons for resigning was tension with the Green’s central office.
Grills says he plans on continuing his community advocacy and hopes to be able to interview all federal party candidates as part of a series he’s putting together. Next Wednesday, his replacement will be picked by the local Green Party at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club.
